We have now started this wonderful program. Ask your child if she/he has earned points

Reading Counts is a program in which students can read a (Reading Counts) book of their choice, and then take a quiz
on the computer to test their comprehension on that book. Each quiz has 10 questions, and in order to pass the student
has to score 70% or above. When they pass a quiz they are awarded a certain number of points (depending on the
book's difficulty.) They can then receive award certificates when they acquire certain amounts of points. We have many
Reading Counts books in class, as well as, in our school library. The books can be read at home or at school.

Please encourage your child to participate in this wonderful individualized comprehension-building program!
