What does the PTO do?
Our PTO helps to fundraise & distribute donations to different areas in our school. Through the hard work from our parents we are able to financially support field trips, our athletic department, library & other academic extra curricular needs of our school & students. Our members devote countless hours to the school. |
| |
What can you do to help?
The PTO always welcomes volunteers. You can be a one time volunteer or volunteer to take a position on the PTO Board. We always welcome new faces and ideas.

Field Trips and Working Parents
Most parents work full time and cannot volunteer in class. However, you can participate in your child's school experience by taking a day off and going on a field trip. However, in order to participate in this activity you MUST fill out a form at the school office. The process takes months so fill it out now for future field trips. |

Policy on Cell Phone Use in School
The use of cell phones is only permitted before school and after school. Students are to place cell phones in the OFF position in their backpacks during school hours (including recess and lunch). At no time are students allowed to have their cell phones on the playground, other than what has been stated and definitely for the purpose of taking pictures. Please help us in our quest to provide a safe learning environment for all children. |

Use of Electronics in School
It has come to our attention that there is an excess use of electronic equipment during the school day. Just a reminder that if students bring game boys, iPods, or any other type of electronic equipment to be used during recess and lunch recess, it is their sole responsibility. Golden Springs' teachers, staff and other fellow students will not be responsible for lost, stolen and broken equipment. PLEASE BE CAUTIOUS! |

Medication
Medication must be accompanied by a Pomona Unified School District form signed by the doctor and the parent. Only then, can it be administered by the Office.
Students may not bring any type of medication, either prescribed or over the counter to school |
